Hi Guys
I have a 30W fiber laser machine with 300×300 lens and EzCad installed software.
I want to mark multiple plates in a 280×280 area but i found a strange issue that I try to describe:
– I have created a file in EzCad with all plates that I want to mark (obviously I set a workspace area of 280x280mm).
– On the screen all data of the plates are perfectly aligned to the plates mask.
– I have detected the issue when I had made the preview of the marking (red point laser) and also during the laser marking.
– I suppose to starting with a green cross in the center of the plate located on the bottom-left corner (see the attached file).
– Going up to the Y axis and also going right to the X axis, the laser preview and the marking positions are wrong (look the red color of the attached file).
It’s so strange that this it’s an asymmetric error. Can you help me to resolve it?

The Lens doesn’t coincide with the laser at the edge, that’s not going to change. You just have to mark each one and then adjust it

Hi Lester Lio, thank you for the quick reply.
Do you mean that I must mark each plate, one by one? And before marking each plate i must to adjust the laser parameters? Thank you so much

Thank you, and if you know if there is the possibility to automate this process?
Marking each plate one by one will be so slowly and tiresome 🙁 -
sorry, I was on a business trip. I don’t know what’s your laser software, it may has a function which makes you can choose one to check it’s position. Also
you can mark them first, then adjust the each one’s position one the software. Hope you can do it . 😉 -
you have to adjust the green marks manually from ezcad and mark a sample for each adjustment. by the time you find the perfect positions you will wish that you would have marked each one seperate…

Hi guys! Thank you so much for the replies…
In brief…
I must to adjust and mark each wrong plate, then once all plates are adjusted I can mark them together without errors?
I have another question…
If I adjust the first wrong plate and then I mark it correctly, when I modify the parameters for adjusting the second wrong plate, they did’t afrect the first corrected plate. It’s true?
I hope I explained it well 😀
